Wall Soccer Club is going to honor any team within our club with a Presidential Award for going above and beyond with community service. The teams in the club must send in an email with a brief description of why their team deserves the honor. This is a way to spotlight our teams and give credit when credit is due for unselfish positive acts. Anyone interested in being considered for Presidential Award please email Dan Manson at dansocman@aol.com
The first Presidential award winner is our Wall Stingrays U9 girls team. This past holiday season the team had a party and the coaches gave the girls the option of playing fun games or going out to sing Christmas Carols and raise money for our soldiers. The girls enthusiastically chose to go out Caroling and raise money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The Stingrays chose to help other instead of playing games and just having fun, WSC President Dan Manson, was quick to point out, " Thats a special thing this group of nine year olds chose to do." "I have seen these young ladies play soccer and they are very talented on the field, but to see them help other makes me proud of them." Manson went on to say "Thats what Wall Soccer is about teaching life lessons through the great game of soccer."
" I’m very proud to have the Stingrays be the first recipient of the Presidential Award given to a team that goes above and beyond just playing soccer." said Manson.
