Wall Wombats Prepare for National League
Matches kickoff in Raleigh NC

 Opening games for US Youth National League begin this weekend in Raleigh, NC. The U15G Wall Wombats will represent Region One in the highest soccer league in the US. The Wombats will play 4 matches over 4 days as well as get to watch the the NCAA Final Four games in Raleigh. These games are macthing the highest level competition in the country and will be viewed by College coaches from all over the country. The US National Team staff will also be on hand to evaluate the talent of the TOP 8 teams in the country.

The Wall Wombats play Michigan Hawks(MI) on Thursday, then Friday they play the  D’Feeters 94 (TX), followed by Saturday Dallas Texans (TX), and ending with NSA Fury (IL) on Sunday. Following this weekend the Wombats will travel to Las Vegas in March to play their final 3 National League matches.

Coach Manson is quick to point out what a great opportunity this is for the girls. " This league is probably the greatest showcase anyone could ever ask for, the best teams and the best players thats what College coaches want to see." The coach went on to say " My girls have worked very hard and made many sacrifices to achieve the level of success and this is just the beginning."

The Wall Wombats team bus leaves on Weds. for Raleigh , NC and another opportunity to play soccer at the highest level in the country.
